Blends two or more water sources by percentage or by flow and calculates the resulting composition, EC and pH. Finds the ratio for a target EC or ion, applies limits and prices, compares blends and simulates pond dilution with rainwater.
Features
- Water sources: Saved analyses or manual entry, with two or more sources.
- Percentage and flow: Blend by percentage or by flow, with automatic adjustment to 100 % and equal parts.
- Target: Ratio to reach up to four values of EC, boron, chloride, sodium, bicarbonate or nitrate, with minimums, maximums and tolerance.
- Limits and cost: Blend bounded by limits, with the price and available water of each source.
- Compare and sensitivity: Three blends side by side and effect of a change in well quality on the blend.
- Pond and rain: Pond dilution with rainwater, with complete mixing or unmixed overflow.
- Result: Composition in mmol/L or mg/L, pH estimated from alkalinity and link to the full water analysis diagnosis.
Inputs
Saved analysis or composition of each water source. Ratio or flow of each source. Target values, limits, price and available volume of each water.
Results
Blend composition ion by ion, EC and pH estimated from alkalinity. Ratio that meets the target or the limits, with cost per m³. Blend comparison, pond dilution and saved blend for the other tools.
Calculation conditions
The blend is calculated with the loaded analyses, each with its sampling date. Blend pH is estimated from the resulting alkalinity. Cost and available volume are the values entered for each source.
